Styled for adventure, the electronically controlled 4WD system gives the new ASX go-anywhere capability.

More power and performance

An all new upgraded powertrain has been put into the new ASX. Fitted with a punchy 2.0 litre petrol engine producing 150 horse power and 195 newton metres of torque, the new ASX is 30% more powerful than the previous generation. The new ASX is also available with a 5 speed manual or CVT automatic transmission, great for cruising round town, but ready to kick into gear when you need it.

Eyes in the back of your head

From Blind Spot Warning for safer lane changing and overtaking, to Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a reversing camera for pulling out of tight parking spaces, these are just a few of the safety features found on the new Mitsubishi ASX.

A new stylish exterior

Embracing the our philosophy of “form follows function”, the new ASX has been fitted with our dynamic shield front grille giving it a sporty, confident presence.

Intelligent design

With a choice of cloth or leather seating materials, a new black roof lining, piano black finished trim and ergonomically placed controls throughout, the ASX’s interior gives you plenty of space and the ability to do everything you want via steering wheel audio controls, touch screen and voice.

An all new lighting cluster

The ASX uses LEDs for the headlights, fog lamps and daytime running lights, all housed in a newly designed light cluster sculpted to give the ASX a wider looking stance.

Designed to stand out

This new front end allows the headlights to be split, making the indicators and mains beams easier to see and less dazzling to oncoming traffic.

All new alloys as standard

Available across the Mitsubishi ASX range, new two-toned 5 spoke 18” alloys wheels give a sense of forward motion even when the car is stood still.

Ready to carry anything

At 406 litres*, the boot space is huge compared to competitors. The easy-opening tailgate is wide enough to make loading even the bulkiest item simple.

*includes 13-litre underfloor compartment space with tyre repair kit.

For extra long loads

The rear seat has a 60:40 split. In other words, a small section can be folded down flat. This allows you to carry bicycles, bodyboards or other extra-long items in the boot, while still leaving seating space for passengers. And if you've got even more to carry some of our leisure accessories will free up space inside.

Comfortable on any journey

Seats have been designed for maximum support. They're available in leather or a new hard wearing soft fabric in a black/grey finish. You can also choose to have an electronically adjustable driver’s seat and heated front seats.

Don't miss the scenery

The panoramic roof floods the interior with light. It also means when you're on an adventure, you won't miss those breathtaking views. To enhance the cabin further and create a more calming interior, the edge around the panoramic roof is illuminated at night with soft LED lighting.

Outstanding roadholding

The four wheel drive (4WD) system gives you better cornering, stability and handling. It does this by directing torque from the front to the rear axle when it detects the car slip, while Active Stability Control distributes torque and braking power to individual wheels to maintain a steady ride.

Greater traction when you need it

Enhance traction and stability further with the Drive Mode Selector switch on the centre console. Just press it until the mode you want appears in the Multi-Information Display on the dash. Choose between 2WD, 4WD AUTO or 4WD LOCK settings.

Normal roads

For economical driving on normal, dry roads and motorways.

Unpredictable roads

For enhanced traction, high speed stability and predictable handling.

Challenging roads

For slippery conditions such as snow-covered roads or sand, when you need maximum traction.

Advanced Smartphone Connectivity

Connect your Apple or Android smartphone to the ASX and enjoy a host of apps, entertainment and features from your phone, including music, podcasts and maps. You can even make phone calls and receive and reply to messages entirely with voice commands, so you can stay in touch while keeping your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.

An all new infotainment system

An upgraded 8” touchscreen with smartphone connectivity and Bluetooth hands-free comes as standard, and the Exceed model offers built-in TomTom satellite navigation, giving you everything you need for every journey.

Surrounded by sound

The premium sound system features high-quality sound and bass response with a powerful punch. The speakers are fitted precisely into the door panels, turning them into frequency enhancing speaker cabinets. Plus, sound levels automatically adjust to how fast you drive.

Keep connected

The Link system connects your external devices with the ASX via a USB port or Bluetooth®, whether it’s a mobile phone or MP3 player. Control them all through the on-board touchscreen or voice command.

Stay plugged in

The USB port lets you connect your portable media player with a USB cable and enjoy your full music library in premium quality. Or simply charge your devices.

Safer in all weather conditions

If sensors located throughout the car detect unstable movement, such as lateral slippage, the Stability Control function automatically controls the brakes and engine output to stabilise the car. If the sensors detect wheel slip when starting on slick surfaces, such as a snow-covered road, the Traction Control function automatically brakes the slipping wheel and governs engine output to enable a smoother start.

Change lanes with ease

Lane Change Assist starts when the turn signal is active on the side where there is another vehicle running alongside, the door mirror indicator blinks and the driver is alerted with beeps to help him or her avoid the vehicle during a lane change.

No more blind spots

This feature uses radar sensors to detect whether there are vehicles in your blind spots. If you're about to change lanes, a light will blink in the door mirror on the side nearest to the hazard and a buzzer will sound.

Reversing with confidence

If sensors in the rear bumper detect an approaching vehicle, when you put the car into reverse, a warning message appears in the Multi-Information Display. A buzzer sounds and an indicator blinks in both door mirrors, too.

Protection for everyone in the car

7 SRS Airbag System

To keep you and your passengers safe in the event of a collision, the ASX is equipped with a 7-airbag system. There's even a knee airbag for the driver in the event of a forward collision.

Easy starts on hills

Hill Start Assist (HSA)

If you're starting on a steep slope, Hill Start Assist makes it really easy by keeping the brake on for up to two seconds, until you press the accelerator. So you never need to worry about rolling back again.

Manoeuvre with ease

Rear Parking Camera

It’s easy to park with a reversing camera. Put the ASX in reverse and the interior monitor shows you a high definition view of behind — guiding you into even the tightest of parking spaces.
