The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowances to obtain a car.
Motability is a UK charity that enables anyone who's eligible for a higher rate mobility allowance to lease a brand-new car, with insurance, maintenance and breakdown cover all included.
There are four types of mobility payments that are eligible to use all or part of their allowance to lease a vehicle through Motability.
If you receive one of these it's highly likely that you're eligible for Motability.
The Motability Scheme is designed to be straight-forward and stress-free. You simply lease the vehicle, paying for it out of your mobility allowance.
